Lets face it getting an is not an easy task. Most people follow no system what so ever. In this article we’ll address simple solutions to your disorganized mess.

The first order of business begins with the proper mental attitude. Do not tell yourself that you are a disorganized person even though you may be. If you continue telling yourself this it will result in what some call a “self fulfilling prophecy”. That is your brains way of moving towards whichever dominate thought you have. So, just give it up. Stop it and go on to apply the tips in this laid out for you here.

By the way a good book to read on this subject is by Julie Morgenstern called “organizing from the Inside Out”. This is a good read and only 247 pages. You can get it at Amazon.com for a small fee if you buy the used version($4.75). The tip here is that many “used” books at Amazon are never sold new books. You can just get them for less is you say you’ll buy used and check out the condition of the book before you buy if you want a STEAL.

You can use this bo0k for your own plan or use it to teach your children how to clean up and be spectacularly organized.

Just imagine not being able to find the last piece that you need to make a report at work. You know that you brought it home to review it but you cannot find it amid all of the items needing to be filed in your home office. The amount of stress you feel out of this is amazing.

When you are disorganized it costs everyone time and money and ultimately your health. All of that stress takes a toll on you.

Stop making up excuses as to why you cannot find this or that. Get organized once and for all. Do not set unrealistic goals for yourself rather concentrate on a few core areas and master them. Then move on.

Strive to do things in a timely fashion. If you schedule tasks in your work calendar do them on time. Don’t just let them linger on and on. If they were important enough to schedule then they must be important enough to do.

Prioritize as much as you can. This will allow you to feel some degree of relief instead of feeling that everything is due at the same time. This works like a charm for doing your bills or organizing home office to. Just try it and write in and tell us what you experienced.

Get to the point where you can close your door and just take care of business. That is really what you need to do most of the time to be efficient. We all have interruptions. Children, phone calls, chores etc. You must stay on task though and get going on your personal schedule for the day.

Pay your bills on time and keep good financial records. Everything that is worthwhile must be written down or recorded on paper for legal reasons.

Always clean and de-clutter your home, office and the work space you have at the office. This in itself will elevate your self esteem and enable you to do more while feeling better about your environment.
